Light, Color, and Time at the GAM in Turin. Three Exhibitions and a New Installation

Description
The article describes the inauguration of Prima Risonanza, the new display of the permanent collections at the Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GAM) in Turin, curated by Chiara Bertola, Elena Volpato, and Fabio Cafagna. In this evolving space, the monographic exhibitions of artists Maria Morganti, Mary Heilmann, and Berthe Morisot are presented alongside the reinstallation of the permanent collections, creating unexpected resonances. A special intervention by Stefano Arienti, l'intruso, enriches the experience with decorative elements that intertwine throughout the galleries, creating a visual dialogue between the past and the present.

Content
Prima Risonanza combines historical and contemporary works in a fluid, non-linear journey, with a decorative intervention by Stefano Arienti that enriches the dialogue between different eras and styles.
Morganti's exhibition explores her work through color and memory, while those of Heilmann and Morisot reflect on chromatic musicality and female self-affirmation in art.
