"Colour is a physical, intimate experience: at times I have the sensation that it comes from within me, as though I were a medium for it." This is the active principle with which Maria Morganti builds her days. She superimposes one colour after another, one day after another, and leaves a slender trace of each individual passage on the upper border of her paintings. I have often asked myself: Why?..."
