The notebooks containing my father’s diaries (Piero Morganti, Milan-Verona, 1963-1995)
have been in my hands since March 8th, the day he died. Slowly, over the years they have become an integral part of my thoughts, my work and my life.
Over the years I kept them catalogued on my table, waiting for a made-to-measure container which could hold them and take them out of the studio together with my work.
In 2019 the "Dad’s Diaries Home” is born.
Since 2020 the object has been raised on a platform-trolley about 40-cm high in order to integrate it into the other parts of the “Gestureplace”.
