This is a stratigraphy made by a restoration lab based on the analysis of a fragment measuring approximately 1.5 x 0.3 cm. It was extracted from the ‘Infinite Painting’, enlarged and transformed into wallpaper, repeated many times until covering the entire space. A painting is placed in the space, for example a ‘Sedimentation’ or the ‘Infinite Painting’ itself, or rather the work which generated it. We are small inside the space, gazing at the macro vision of the detail. We immerse ourselves in the stratification of the painterly substance that has formed day after day over ten years through the daily ritual of painting.
