The ‘Red Panel’ where all the red works from the archive have been extracted and organised in chronological order and inside a grid. I wanted to highlight this colour because it is the central point of my discourse on painting and how my palette progresses. By starting all my paintings with red, the bowl-palette is forced to return to this colour cyclically. Sometimes, as well as being the first colour, it is also the last layer, clear to the eye.
