Series description and interpretation
Copies from paintings
Drawing as a way of thinking. Painting also thinks, but unlike painting drawing from life looks outside. What I choose to examine, understand and look at comes from a tendency that comes from within my method. It is about understanding through the eye, watching and transferring onto paper what I see, understanding what and why my eye sees. Looking “outside of myself” in relation to “inside myself”. Here, the reality taken into consideration is painting: paintings by other artists.
