Gemmations
‘Gemmation’ is a small canvas that follows the same procedure as the ‘Infinite Painting’ but is painted horizontally and for a defined period. The “Gemmations” are derivations of the “Infinite Painting”. It is as though the work had started to sprout, as though a small piece had detached itself from the same painting and started to self-generate independently. A form of filiation like the one that happens to jellyfish in the natural world.
