Diary Trace 2020 - (...)

The "Power", i.e. the trace of such remaining (restance), "is" as much as it spills over, exceeds, and therefore  "remains" (...) it makes the project possible, inevitable, even compulsive.

Wooden panel that accumulates splashes of colour. It is hung at a couple of centimetres from the floor. A work in progress that began in 2020. A double wall that supports the diary while it is painted becomes the place of memory. That which lies behind; that which we don’t consider while we are doing; that which we don’t see; that which is created around us; that which remains. The point in which one is seeped with the experience, with the contact that generated the trace. The place that becomes the imprint of time. Description: Wooden panel that accumulates splashes of colour. It is hung a couple of centimetres from the ground.

Traces
During the trajectory, imprints form and substance accumulates.Moving, acting, crossing through the space, leaving colour, tracing signs: all of this activity leaves parts of itself behind. What remains along the way constitutes something parallel and marks the passage of the experience. I turn back, I see the wake that I have left and I recognise something.
