Shrunken Gestureplace

This work is the shrunken version of the ‘Gestureplace’, the space constructed to represent, contain and make the action of painting happen, which here has been shrunk in order to be held and understood.
 
The box-space it contains is the reproduction on a 1:10 scale of the ground floor of my studio where I work with the colour substance. Inside it are all the elements that make up the ‘Gestureplace’: the ‘Platform’, the ‘Imprint Diaries’, the ‘Imprint Table’, the ‘Imprint Bowl, the ‘Dad’s Diary Home’, the ‘Cushion’, the ‘Bowl’, the ‘Diarytheque’, the ‘Infinite Painting’, the ‘Sedimentary’ and the ‘Painting Wall’.
