Inside the red

The panel that condenses the sequence of the painting from the beginning until 2020 becomes an image that covers a large wall or creates an actual environment. An actual red ‘Sedimentation’ cuold be hung inside the space.

This chart represents all the works catalogued as “reds” in the archive from 1980 to the last year. 
The idea was to make this colour evident because it is a central point of my discourse about painting and the evolution of my palette. Having to start each of my paintings with red, the bowl-palette is forced to return cyclically to this colour. Sometimes, as well as being the first it is also the last layer, or rather it is the final one that is evident to the eye.
